You know how to download and install it. You know how to install new themes and plugins, and you know how to activate them.

But what about the situations where you have an existing website built in HTML and you want to turn it into a content-managed WordPress site? Or what if you have browsed through the available themes but still cannot find the one that is right for you?

This workshop will solve these problems.

In this workshop, we will break down the anatomy of a WordPress theme and see how it is constructed. We will build our own custom theme from scratch, and then take what we learn and apply it to existing themes to see how we can go about editing them. Along the way, we will pick up some tricks in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP to help us really take control of our project.

This workshop is part one of a two-part series. Sign up for BOTH WORKSHOPS and save $20!! http://wpbundle.eventbrite.com/
